New Baby on the Block!

For those who still don't know, Luciana's baby has a name which means "God with us": Emanuel! He will be born in some weeks and because of it his papa and mama will prepare him a "Baby Shower". We, as good old folks we are, will publicize the Baby Shower Invitation here for you know that babies like doing numbers 1 and 2 so much and loads of diapers will be needed! If you want to welcome Emanuel, do it by giving him some diapers!

LITTLE WRITERS

Confira os "masterpieces" escritos por alguns alunos do Magic Links 4 da Professora Regiane Ferreira no ano de 2009. Eles criaram versões livres do clássico "The Three Little Pigs". Enjoy them!

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time the Three Little Pigs moved to a big city.

First, the first pig went to a fast food place and he saw a the Big Bad Wolf! The pig was very much afraid and ran and ran but the wolf was good now.

Then, the wolf went to the house of the pigs and came in. The three pigs ran but the wolf said:

__ I am good now!

Finally, they lived happily ever after.

First, the Three Little Pigs went to their friend's party. The pigs ate lots of meat and fruit.

Then the wolf went to the party too. He danced with his girlfriend and the pigs danced alone.

Finally, The Three Little Pigs had a bad day and the wolf had a good day with his girlfriend. The pigs wento the house and drank alot of soda. They didn't sleep very well. The wolf went to the house and drank a lot of orange juice. And he didn't sleep well too.

First the pigs went to the supermarket and bought: one pizza, one coke and two grape juice.
Then the pigs and the wolf prepared the pizza at the house bricks.
Finally they had dinner and the wolf ate all pizza and he was not well.

Then the pigs and the wolf went to hospital and the pig bought a vacine and they lived happily ever after.

First, in a forest there was a litlle house and Three litlle pigs lived there. Julio, Jon and Jasper.
One day, the pig had breakfast and went to the wolf’s house. They played vídeo-games and soccer. They had lunch ( Fish), they went to house and slept.
Then, Jon pig checked the time: 12:30! They lost the job and the house!
They went to the wolf’s house and lived there.
Finally, they got a new job and built their house again and lived hapilly ever after...

TOP TIP: Alice in Wonderland

And our first tip on movies goes for Alice in Wonderland, which I must undoubtly rate as a must-see movie.

Directed by Tim Burton and starred by Mia Wasikowska as Alice and co-starred by Hollywood favorites Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter and Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, Alice in Wonderland is an extention of Lewis Carrol's novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

This film will use a technique combining live action and animation. It will be released on March, 5th , 2010 in 3-D theaters and regular ones. It will probably follow Avatar's footstep and be a great audience gatherer.

So when it is released in the nearest movie theater, let's not lose the opportunity and let's call our pals and watch it. Don't forget your popcorn!
